do I need to mention more? it’s definitely the month of december!
I kicked off this jovial month with an enjoyable trip to the land of TVB (where else but Hong Kong) den followed by lots of public holiday (which leads me to no mood to work at all).
also this month my company is celebrating the 9th magical anniversary with a safari theme. guess what’s my costume? I’m a zebra... that’s the easiest I could think of with just a black & white stripe tee and a headgear of Marty from Madasgascar. thank God that so coincidentally mcdonald’s has this kinda promotion at the same period of time or else I’ll be struggling like hell thinking what to wear. I’m loving it...
while in Singapore, I managed to catch up with Terry for a cuppa (I don’t remember the lastime we met... if not mistaken, I think it’s more then half a year ago). catching up with old friend is great but I was left envious bcoz... he’s flying off to Maldives the next day for work (although it’s for work but still... *envy envy*).
everytime when I was in Singapore, I promised Li Thim to meet up with her but I never once kept my promise. I know... shame on me and I’m sure a lot of you guys out there are nodding your head right now as I always do the same to everyone haha... so this time is a very good chance for me to do what I had promised and since her boyfriend was away, I decided to extend my stay at her place. thanks Li Thim for keeping me for the nite *muaks*. I couldn’t believe it that we talked and talked and talked so much that we sacrificed our shopping time hence we ended up rushing here and there to spend up my S$100 Isetan voucher that I won from my company DnD. but with no doubt, I definitely did have great fun being with her.
so now, yuletide time is here… Kent, Wah, Jen and I had decided to have a posh dining to award ourselves (after one whole year of suffering). we reached Bangsar right on time due to no traffic jam as what we expected and surprised to see that Alexis was so quiet. Hmmm… I wonder where’s the crowd but it doesn’t really matter as I prefer peace and quiet. we dined from starters to main course to desserts with white wine accompanying our meals and followed by red wine to bring us through the midnite. I personally did enjoy myself with everything fine and relaxing. it was almost 1am that we decided to continue the nite at our regular hang out (Mont Kiara’s Starbucks) while Wah joined his other friends at Taman Tun. but we were deeply disappointed when we realized starbucks had closed for the day. we were blanked for a moment as we really didn’t know what else to do but we refused to get home therefore we ended up buying some drinks from nearby 7eleven and mcdonald’s ice cream while resting our butt at starbucks’ area haha...
and today is exactly the christmas day but I am still stuck at home to do some coordinations with my Bangkok colleagues. no whining as I really do appreciate their commitment and effort.
lalala... cheerful happy mood... and not to forget, I will like to wish all my dear friends a very merry christmas and a great 2009 ahead!
