yeap, I was reading the newspaper this afternoon and this column in the world section has kept me well educated. I didn’t know you can actually add extra time to make the clocks coordination with the Earth’s spin. and I definitely know zero that it actually happened 24 times before since 1972 and the last time the leap second was added on 31st dec 2005.

where was I? how could I not know about it? talking about shallow huh (shame on you, Jamie)...

well... what should I do to make this additional one second to be more meaningful? one second is equivalent to the time of an eye blink or the time your heartbeat stopped when you sneezed. hell ya… it’s only one second and what else can I be possibly doing? I guess the answer is nothing haha…

2008 is ending in the next 2 days and 2009 is approaching soon. besides worrying age catching up, I think I really need to ponder what have I done over the year of 2008. one word describes best for my 2008, busy! I was busy with tonnes of work (events, unreasonable tight timeline projects and target sales of million). I was busy traveling for work (Singapore, Wuxi, JB and KK). I was busy traveling for vacations too (Krabi, Lang Tengah, Langkawi, KK again, Macau, Hong Kong and of coz Singapore for uncountable times).

looking back, I guess I did have balance life rite… I sacrificed my time to work hard but yet I pampered myself to play hard too. welldone for implementing my philosophy of life, balance life is happy life.

2009 is definitely a hard year with the financial crisis hitting us. some say it’s greater than the great depression and some say this catastrophe will last for about 20 years. I am no financial analyst hence I will just need to beware of my expenditure and make sure I work hard enough to earn my bonuses (I hope my boss is reading this hehe).
