a very fulfilling weekend....

reached home about 2am after having a cuppa with Jen and Kent at mont kiara’s starbucks then straight switch on the tv set to channel 707 (discovery travel and living channel) showing travel at santorini, greece (a very beautiful country which is now in my ‘must visit place before I die’ travel list). it was then 4am plus when nothing on the tv set interest me anymore and I decided it’s time to bed.

out of nowhere, ringtone of utada’s first love rang in the air (by the way, it was 6am and I really do mean 6am sharp). I was waken up by that sudden music and immediately I hope it wasn’t him (I’m not gonna mention his name here) calling at this hour again. fortunately, it was not him but it was Nicholas calling to ask whether I’m interested to have breakfast at jalan alor (this guy really love good food at any hour of time!). surprisingly, I wasn’t pissed off but still I rejected that idea as I really needed my beauty sleep. I’m sure he would have expected that answer but so nice of him to remind that he will pick me up at 11 to midvalley (to get my e=mc2 album hehe...).

my phone rang again and I turned to my clock pointing at 10 am sharp (he definitely is a very punctual person). picked up his call knowing that he’s on the way and I only had about half an hour to prepare myself. my instant reaction, quick quick quick…. (long time never wake up at that hour to hit the mall so early)

it was only 11am and the mall is already full of people (omg, I really couldn’t believe my eyes. what a healthy lifestyle they have huh…). since my tummy was making noises, we straight went to eat (my brunch and his early lunch). we decided to eat at madam kwan’s so that I can have my favorite light meal, dumpling soup, and his favorite sinful meal, nasi lemak haha.... could you believe it that we hang out at madam kwan’s since 11am till 2pm? obviously I’m still in an ‘inactive’ mode yet and I just want to sit and rest haha….

after resting for digestion, we went to rock corner to get what I am looking for (Mariah Carey’s e=mc2 album). I found it! so happy and we still continue looking around as they are having discounts. walk, walk, choose, choose and I ended up with 3 cds in my hand (1 Mariah Carey's and 2 Michael Buble's) and Nicholas got himself Jim Brickman's too.

while wandering around, I saw this hair salon offering manicure and pedicure services as well. I was interested coz recently my feet keep on peeling skin (I think due to too many dead skin from all the high heels). suddenly, a brilliant idea just strikes me. why don’t we go for the fish spa?! since I really need to remove my feet’s dead skin and Nicholas haven’t try before, we happily get ourselves to Kenko’s. I was still quite afraid of the small fishes even though I had experienced it before. it took me a few minutes to get used to it but when I looked to my right, he was already enjoying himself haha… he even dipped his palms into the water as his palms was peeling due to alcohol side effects. after 30 minutes, we left kenko’s with a pretty feet and palms :)

Nicholas wanted to get some home décor inspiration so we headed down to mph. we browsed through the fengshui corner, the home décor corner, the architecture corner and travel corner. The wuliao us was even inspired to name our own home, I will name my home ‘the pixie mansion’ if I ever got a chance to build my own home and Nicholas will call his home ‘the bookoflore’ if he ever got a chance to build his own home. while we were browsing at the travel corner, I saw this book titled ‘1000 must visit place before you die’. I immediately got attracted to the book (like how negative ion got attracted to positive ion hehe...) and we both took the book, find a place to sit and flip through it page by page. that was when we both realized we had only been less then 5% of the world and we told ourselves we must travel more!!!

we felt tired from the enlightening trip into mph so we decided to head to bangsar earlier to get a drink while waiting for the others to join us there for the football nite. they were late as usual and the guys’ straight got themselves into the football mood and we gals as usual just gossiping and bitching all the way (I was actually into the match too, I’m just not the usual girl ok…).

it was definitely a very fulfilling weekend for me. from getting my long awaited e=mc2 album to indulging myself with so much of informative knowledge to just enjoying myself with the guys on football… hope I can do this more often :)
