last friday, I received a call from godbro saying that his wife and son will be out with their Aussie aunty who is now in KL. my instant reaction is “so what??” and then he happily told me that finally we can have an outing without Jayden (my precious nephew).
it has been years since the last time we both had time together (and I really mean only two of us together). I know it is very tough especially when he has a family to support. although he is not my biological brother, we always have the bond unlike me and my younger godbro. thinking back, he is the first person who taught me how to drink, smoke and also brought me along clubbing (that time I was still under age…scary…), oh and introduced me to my then first boyfriend (so paiseh…)
so this morning after dropping his wife and Jayden, he came to my home (so early that I haven’t even woke up). after getting myself readied, we waited for my mum to come back from the morning market so that we can head to have our dimsum breakfast. we went all the way to Sri Petaling to have a good and cheap dimsum. as usual, sunday morning is always packed with lots of people (that is why I never care to have breakfast on weekend). after a fulfilling breakfast, my family went home but godbro and I decided to hang out at KLCC since both of us never step in there long ago.
with no intension to shop at all, we just lingered and hanged out at Kinokuniya. after that, I suggested that we have a cuppa at Starbucks (been craving it few weeks already). when more and more people started to come in KLCC (we don’t really like crowds), we thought of heading back to godbro’s home for ‘potato couch’ time!
reached at godbro’s home about 3pm and we straight we start our dvd session. we decided to watch ‘american gangster’ with coke and almond nuts as our snacks. by the way, the movie is so boring that I don’t bother to follow the story. we both started to get bored and that’s when I suggested we go for a jog (trying to live healthy ma….).
godbro fetched me home to get my jogging attire then we drove to TTDI Park. halfway there, it started raining (gggrrrhh...so frustrating) and guess where we ended up? We head to Ikea instead haha... he bought a few home necessities and I bought a cute little soft toy for my little Jayden.
what a waste that I couldn’t jog with the ex-Perak runner (yeah, he used to be the state representative in high school but now I think he is worse then me haha…). But never mind, I still enjoyed the day with him like how we used to do it. sad to say that I am still in a very low mood after coming back from my Krabi trip (I really don’t feel like working at all!!!). anyway, I’ll jot down my Krabi trip journal before I start forgetting the details…
